Basic Organic Chemistry is made up of two semesters of lectures. There are two approaches being used: a. By functional groups: the two courses cover the functional groups sequentially in order of increasing complexity. The structure, stereochemistry, nomenclature, chemical properties, reactivity, basic synthesis and spectroscopic analysis of each functional groups are covered together. b. Structure and Reactivity: the first semester covers organic structure, stereochemistry, nomenclature and spectroscopic analysis, while the second semester shall focus on chemical properties, reactivity and basic synthesis.

This course is created for dry-run only for chem faculty to test LMS with respect to student's class performance.

This webinar series is conducted by Department of Chemistry under the vision of CSU Extension PASA, to equip recipients with appropriate skills and knowledge that are vital for self development.CSU e-PASA invites you to the Webinar series in teaching chemistry. September 2020
