A study of accounting concepts and their application in transaction analysis and financial statement preparation and analysis. Students will be introduced to financial statements and the accounting cycle for a service business. This is designed to provide students with knowledge of business organizations by understanding the accounting theory, concepts, and procedures. Students will acquire knowledge of journalizing and posting transactions, worksheets, financial statement,s and accounting concepts and procedures essential to the accounting cycle.
