This
course introduces the students to the geology and tectonics of the Philippines
and Southeast Asia. General discussions on the region’s stratigraphy,
structures, and tectonic setting in relation to geodynamic processes are
incorporated. Included are presentations of models of the geodynamic evolution
of the region and updates on developments from recent research.
