This course introduces the fundamental principles of wave motion and the nature of light. It covers mechanical waves, sound, and the behavior of light through reflection, refraction, interference, diffraction, and polarization. Emphasis is placed on conceptual understanding, practical applications, and experimental demonstrations relevant to teaching and learning in general science education. The course aims to develop both theoretical insight and pedagogical readiness for future science educators.
