This course introduces the use of quantitative methods in research and modeling business problems. Theories and methods of statistical inference will be thoroughly examined. Topics include sampling theory, probability, estimation, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, and several business statistics applications. The course will enable students to apply quantitative methods in research and use Microsoft Excel for numerical analysis. A blended learning approach will be employed to address uncertainties in delivering instruction, with Microsoft PowerPoint utilized for topic discussions. The course will leverage the Masao LMS for distributing course materials and announcements. Real-world data and cases will serve as the primary basis for assessments.
