The course introduces ethics, ethics in business, and the relevance of discussing ethics in IT.  It explains the importance of ethics in the business relationships of IT professionals, including those between IT workers and employers, clients, suppliers, other professionals, IT users, and society.  This enables the student to have some discussions on the ethical issues faced by IT users. Also, it covers the discussion on the most common types of computer-related incidents, the right to privacy issues, freedom of expression, and intellectual property, the impact of IT on productivity and quality of life, and how people use social networks.
