Course Description
This course is designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to innovate curricula and effectively integrate e-learning strategies into their teaching practices. It will explore the theoretical foundations of curriculum development and e-learning and practical applications for designing and implementing innovative learning experiences. Towards the end of the course, the students will be able to develop and manifest a sense of being transformational educators (any of its characteristics identified below), at least when submitting their outputs and class performance.
It systematically engages students in interactive discussions and integrates pertinent learning resources, including peer-reviewed journal articles, TED Talks, video recordings, and reference books. Adopting a hybrid approach, the course combines traditional face-to-face classes with virtual/synchronous sessions via Google Meet and alternative platforms like Facebook Group Page and Messenger Group Chat. Assessment methods include reflective essays and other kinds of written outputs, alongside the submission/presentation of terminal outputs for evaluation.
