The course provides an introduction to the fundamental principles and practices of environmental planning and management, with a particular focus on urban environments. Students will explore the complex interplay between human activities and the natural environment, examining the ecological, social, and economic dimensions of sustainable development. Knowledge obtained from this course will connect to completing other environmental science courses to address complex environmental issues and contribute to effective decision-making for the responsible use of natural resources.
