Objectives

            General:

            To study the adoption, cultural and management practices, harvesting, post-harvest handling and profitability of producing the major root crops and field legume crops.

            Specific:

>Identify the different major root crops and field legume crops grown in the locality

>Acquire and apply knowledge and skills on the recommended cultural practices used in the production of major root crops and field legume crops;

>Acquire knowledge and skills on the proper method of harvesting and post-harvest handling of root crops and field legume crops; and

>Apply cost and return analysis in the production of root crops and field legume crops grown in the locality.
