The recognition of agroforestry as a land-use management system for enhancing socioeconomic productivity and ecological stability heightened the interest of agriculture and forestry schools in offering of various agroforestry curricular programs. Among the core courses integrated in these programs is the Introduction to Agroforestry.
As an appreciation / introductory course, Introduction to Agroforestry intends to create awareness among the students about agroforestry - its concepts, principles, and potentials in upland development.
