Introduction to engineering as a discipline and a profession. It includes instruction in the application of mathematical and scientific principles to the solution of practical problems for the benefit of society.
The material taught in this course will provide an understanding for prospective students intending to major in engineering of the skills and requirements necessary toward obtaining a degree in engineering.
