This course Provides an overview of the history, processes, products, and applications of traditional and modern biotechnology, including ethical issues, benefits, and perceived risks to man and the environment. The course aims to provide even the students with basic information necessary to discuss biotechnology and make their own assessment of the benefits and risks of biotechnology products.
