The Information Management course covers information management, database design, data modeling, Structured Query Language (SQL), and relational database system implementation to manage information throughout its lifecycle in physical storage/disks. The lifecycle starts from information identification and collection, storage, distribution, archiving, and destruction, encompassing all physical and electronic data collected from clients and stakeholders. There will be relevant legal topics to be reiterated from ITE 15 Social Issues and Professional Practice
concerning Information Management in the context of RA. 10173 The Data Privacy Act (DPA), The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and The Freedom of Information Act.
