Microbiology and Parasitology is a course that deals on microbial morphoanatomy, physiology, genetics, classification, normal flora, and host-parasite relationship, and understand how the human body reacts to major protozoans, helminths, and arthropod parasites. It also involves the study of their roles in the environment, industry, and medicine. The laboratory activities include aseptic techniques in culturing and studying bacteria and fungi and other parasites.
