This course is a core subject of the physics
education students that will help them develop their advance conceptual understanding and
build a strong problem-solving skill in classical electromagnetism. It is
intended for the courses to take up the interaction of charges and
electromagnetic fields, the Divergence and Curl of electromagnetic field in all
media, the solution of Laplace equation and poison’s equation in
electrodynamics, the Method of Images, and the Multipole Expansions. The
general approach of this course is to introduce the general principles and then
relate it to the vast application of electrodynamics in various field of
studies. Numerous examples and applications will be discussed to enables the
student to fully understand the general principles of electrodynamics and their
relevance.
