The Mine and Plant Practice-OJT comprises 360 and 384 hours of actual field exposure, as indicated in the program's new curriculum and old curriculum, respectively.
The interpretation and analysis regarding the subject matter discussed inside the classroom will be enhanced through the first-hand experience in the real world of mine. However, due to CoViD-19, the deployment of students in the actual workplace is halted. Still, Advisory No.7 issued by the Commission on Higher Education, highlighting the suspension of OJT and Internship programs, is in effect to date until the subsequent issuance of a new advisory is given.
