This course may cover topics in algebra and trigonometry including but are not limited to: relations and functions, type of functions, equations with absolute values, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, fundamental identities and angle formulas; solving equations; triangles with applications; polar coordinate system, and problem solving. There is much emphasis on problem solving, reporting and explorations which the students are urged to do in groups through cooperative learning.
