This
course includes discussions on basic operating systems concepts, processes
& threads, CPU scheduling, deadlocks, memory management. Discussions and demonstrations on OS
installation, PC formatting and basic troubleshooting, computer assembly and
disassembly, accessing DOS mode through command-line interface, dual booting,
and the use of VMware (virtual machine) are also included.
