This course provides an overview about the general
concept of computers and computer applications for environmental science
students; an understanding about Computer ethics and privacy; an Appreciation
of the History of Computing; and Knowledge of the key Components of Computer
Systems – its organization and architecture, malware, computer security, and
the internet.
