This course focuses in formulating and developing a problem for research, how to make reviews on related literatures, selecting appropriate methods for gathering data, and analyses and interpretation of research outputs. The course will provide an overview on the recent trends in agricultural and biosystems engineering researches, research process, and productivity tools for thesis writing. Moreover, this course will introduce the basic techniques on how to effectively present research outputs, perform oral presentation and familiarize the research publication process.
ABE 197 is consists of 18 hours lecture and 72 hours laboratory/fieldwork.
