Random variables, bit error rate, matched filter, digital modulation technique: ASK, FSK, QAM, PSK/QPSK, CDMA, and W-CDMA systems, signal space, generalized orthogonal signals, information measure entropy, channel capacity, efficient encoding, error-correcting codes, information theory, data compression, coding theory.
The class will be available for streaming and download in the LMS. Midterm and Final Exams shall be conducted in a scheduled face-to-face arrangement. The quizzes, problem sets, and other requirements shall be submitted thru the online platform.
